General information The Skaraborg Institute was founded in 1992. By creating a foundation for promoting research and development the then 'Skaraborg County Council' wished to impress that research and development both are crucial for maintaining and raising the level of quality within the health care area. The Institute is focussing on support for particular projects. Funds for projects can be applied for at the 1st of May every year. The applicant should be living and/or working with health care in the Skaraborg area and the project should be of general interest for health care work within the range of local governments. So called seed-money can be applied for at any time of the year. Right now the Institute supports around 70 different projects.
